Hellow everyone,

I'm a beginner on star-ccm+ and trying to perform a simulation of a piping system. But now I'm confused about how to model a pressure drop caused by valve in a piping. So my question is How do i do that in star-ccm+? by boundary or interface(periodic boundary)?

Hi,

you should have a look at porous Interfaces or porous regions.

Greetings
