how can i define my inlet as pulsation flow inlet (pressure vs time) in star ccm+

How should the shape of the pulsation look like?
A simple sinusoidal could be done with a field function for example.

I don't exactly know what conditions you want at your inlet. But if you want a kind of a "pressure inlet" you have two options I think:

- Take pressure outlet as the inlet (although it's not designed to use it like this)
- Use a stagnation inlet

Write your field function for the variables you want to pulsate(Definitions: sin(blabla)....) under tools and apply them to the inlet.

I never used these two conditions so it would be a good idea to test it on a simple duct geometry and monitor if it works before you apply it to your "real" case.
