Hello,

For my calculation on a section plane, I am trying to extract the area of each cell but I am getting double variable as the error. So to verify and have a look at the values. I create XYZ internal table and I select my plane as the part and for the function, I select all the areas( magnitude, Cartesian-i,j,k, Cylindrical.i,j,k) to have an idea. But on extracting, it is observed that everything has the exact same value. Also, further I tried to plot volume on the same plane. And here I could extract volume for each cell. Well, now I do not know why I do not get an area but volume is possible?

Any clue on why this is so?

Thanks in advance.

works fine for me getting area magnitude of the section cut area thru each cell and i can have a scalar scene confirming the area values are sensible and then extract in a table so your problem could be the version used since i seem to remember something about better post processing of section planes in the last few versions and i am using 12.04
