I am working on a DEM modeling. The particles are injected from the bottom of a pipe, the pipe is “S” shape in vertical direction. The density of the fluid is higher than the particles. So, the particles will be rising due to buoyancy force. A couple a of jets will be placed on the pipe to observe if the jet could manage particles movement.
I have successfully modeled DEM, but don’t know how to add the jets in the model. If DEM model allows jets, or I need to create other models to couple DEM model. Thank you very much. Dawn |
