How to obtain the force by integrating the pressure?

Hey CFDers,
I make a plane section cross the target I study and get a outline on the target. I want to get the force acting on the outline. However I failed to obtain the force by integrating the pressure. Anyone can provide me some suggestions? |

I don't think what you're doing makes any physical sense. You have to multiply by an area which is infinitely small with that method.
You're better off calculating the force as a field and taking a slice of it instead, I think. |
