Dear colleagues,
I have a task to do simualtion of one ejector and I have problem on the end of process. I have made model of simple ejector, which has one main inlet (air, velocity inlet), and two inlets (velocity) for methane (CH4) (secondary gas). Air shoud "pull" methane and these two gases should mix together and go through outlet. I have made mesh but I have problem with Physics. When I choose this gases and define mass fractions on each inlets, I got message that sum of mass fractions is zero. My knowledge in star ccm+ is not great, so this could be a very simple problem for you, but I really can't move on. Thanks in advance, Best regards. Mirza. |

i have not done a mixing case for a long time but know they work when set up correctly so my suggestion is you do one or two of the relevant tutorials and you will hopefully realise your error

Check your mass fractions on the outlet.
