Hello,
I am modeling an airplane wing on star-ccm for a fluid-structure interaction analysis. The question is: how do you remove the static load obtained once the steady solution is converged? The CAD geometry given is the one of the wing operating. But if you run FSI with such a geometry, it will deform and at operation it will be bending upwards, giving a wrong lift. Basically the load seen by the wing is the following: Load = steady load + unsteady load What I am aiming for is to do the following operation: Load_effective = (steady load + unsteady load) - steady load = unsteady load Any ideas how to do so?
