Hi Everyone,
I am trying to project a 3d CAD file onto the XY plane as a 2D curve in order to do a 2D mesh and simulation. I feel like I have tried everything at this point: Imprinting, slicing, translating, section view, not really sure what to do next. I want to project the edges of the CAD drawing onto the XY plane. Any idea how to do this? |

Just during sketch editing - right click edges and/or faces of your CAD model and select Project.
