star ccm+ scenes problem!

I opened the sim file that was already worked through starccm in other desktop. Load was not an issue, but there is a problem opening the geometry scene in the scenes module. GEOMETRY did not appear when I waited endlessly with the words 'Initializing scene contents! Please wait...' in the lower left corner. I have a POD license.
