Streamlines visualization

Hi all,
I am trying to visulaize the the streamlines along the opening of a ring but i dont know which plane to take or which the best types. any help? |

you will need to provide a picture or better description of your problem/domain. I doubt anyone knows what the 'opening of a ring' means as it is overtly ambiguous.
