Hey together ,

In the last few weeks I have created a simulation for modelling particles in gas flows. The Lagrangian multiphase model was used.
The simulation itself is stable and looks good so far.
For my further work, however, I would have to export the location-dependent properties (temperature, residence time, velocity) of my particles or streams so that I can process them in other programmes (Excel, Matlab, Origin).
The creation of track files and display in the model in Star CCM+ works very well, but I have not yet found a way to export the particle information, since the automatically created track files (.trk) can only be read by Star CCM.
Does anyone have an idea how this could be done?

Many thanks and best regards
Tobi

Did you try Tools -> Tables -> XYZ Internal Table?

Thank you very much.
I think this should be exactly, what I need.
Never recognized this option...

You're very welcome

Another thingie that might be handy is - Parcel Mapper (Data Mappers) that maps data (available only on parcels/tracks) on volume mesh so you can analyze it like in

${Temperature} (of gas) - ${MappedParticleTemperature}

Oh yes, this could be really helpful, thank you!
Another question Do you (or anybody else) know, how to get the parcel temperature at each location as a field function?
The background is that I want to calculate particle properties with dependence of their own temperature (emitted radiation). For this I need their temperature during the simulation.

Working / processing / analyzing parcel or particle temperature should not be different from doing the same to the parcel/particle position or velocity
Or am I missing the point?
