stagnation pressure boundary problem

Hi everyone,
I am simulating a simple case with a inlet and a outlet, using stagnation pressure boundary condition for inlet and pressure boundary for outlet. However, I cannot figure out why star-cd always tell me "Error 012: Static pressure greater than stagnation pressure at region 1 negative. Try to lower relaxation factor for pressure and/or velocities." The stagnation pressure is set as 1000 at the inlet, with outlet pressure 0. There is no other way to setup the boundaries any more, as we only know the inlet and outlet pressure. Many thanks in advance! |

You need to know indirectly, static pressure (also called supersonic static pressure), total pressure, mach number, static temperature, and total temperature (3 of these 5). |
