when i am doing tutorial problem for es-ice using trimming method the following error occurs before creating 2-D template:
Error: The cells between valve 1(22) and valve 2(18) must agree. Before storing section 1 and section 2 in create Template panel. Is this due to trimming splines? or adjusting right triangle for inlet valve(section1)? |

when creating the 2d template the 2 sides of section 1 and 2 (first and second mathematical quadrant) have to have the same amount of cells. So increase the number of cells in section 2 by 6.

Thanks chili for your reply,
Yesterday i adjusted the cells for respective valve(section) so that match occurs properly. But during trimming process, following error found Error:Failed to cut the template, could not close the surface because the edge of valve face was not found. I think the edges of valves at junction should align properly then only trimming will occur. |
