Hello to all,
I am modeling a fluid-structure interaction in a tube. I need stress-free boundary condition at the outer wall of the pipe. What type of boundary condition should I use in Ansys Structural? Best wishes |

Hi Daniel,
In FEM in general (and Ansys is no exception), a stress-free BC (boundary condition) is called a homogenous natural BC, and it is the default. This means that any boundary you do not prescribe anything on is stress-free. |
