I am trying to perform a simulation of a uniaxial tensile test with a group of surface bodies (with a small thickness applied) that is connected to solids to apply the boundary conditions. There is a symmetry condition applied across the cross section of the body. I keep getting the error " A large negative pivot value ( -1.62459881E-07 ) has been encountered in the global assembled matrix. This may be caused by a bad temperature-dependent material property used in the model." Therefore, I changed my materials to structural steel for troubleshooting purposes but the problem continued. I am out of ideas what to do next. Please help!
