Hi everyone,

I am not an expert in structural analysis, but I need the data out of the structural simulation for my CFD analysis.

I am using ABAQUS for this study and the problem is quite simple. I have a concentrated sinusoidal force (F=a sin( omega*t)) exerted on a node and all I need is the velocity of the surface node for a few cycles. I need to know what is the best type of "ABAQUS step" for this purpose (acceptable acuracy+ not too computationally expensive). I don't know which of these steps is the most suitable for this application (Steady-state dynamic, dynamic explicit or dynamic implicit). Any suggestions?
