Hello everyone!
I am a mechanical engineering student and am currently doing a project related to the FEA analyses of padeyes and wanted some help. So basically I am trying to apply a force on the top section of the pinhole only and I could do this ansys but I am not able to do it in ABAQUS. The body force option dosent work and when I try to apply pressure loading, the forces are all perpendicular to the face but I want to have vertical forces only. The forces that I am applying are simulating the forces of a pin attached to the lug. Could you also tell me if the forces should be vertical only or should they always be perpendicular to the face like the pressure loads.. Really confused here I have attached pictures aswell for a clear understanding of the problem thanks in advance! |
