Hello,
I am analysing a pulley and shaft having its both ends fixed. A moment given to pulley and there is a friction between pulley and shaft. I was trying to evaluate mode shapes first with zero moment but ansys is giving popup nonlinear contact detected. Pulley and shaft are perfect fit. How do I make ansys understand that the moment applied for pulley gets transferred to shaft due to friction between them when performing transient analysis? Regards, Rakesh |
