Hello Guys,
I am performing simulation in Ansys Static Structural.
I have some quaries:
Firstly, I set the material properties(Young'sModolus, Possion ratio) in Engingeering data.
Secondly, I create model and mesh.
Thirdly, I find my desired parametrs in the Ansys MEchnical(Results).

Now, I extracted principal stress on the each node of the computational grid.
From this I have calculated, fatigue and crack propagation on the grid.

Fourthly, I have once again calualted Young's modolus and passion ratio on the each node of the grid.

Now I want start once again simulation, I mean, how can I assign different material propteis on each node of the computational grid to compute stress tensor on the grid.

I'm not understanding what or why you are trying to do this? How would Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio change everywhere?
If you really wanted to do it for a real reason, and it is a simple function, perhaps you can make Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio a function of temperature, then assign a thermal condition to your model as a f(x,y,z) using "external data" which would assign the material properties spatially. Of course, you would have to set thermal expansion to zero and you would not be able to use this method if you also have to solve for temperature. I don't know of any non-workaround way to do this or how to properly perform the model you are attempting.

I am trying to find, crack initiation and propagation in solid square plate.
i need to do it in loop.
After First Simulation. When i update the material properties and solve the model.
Once again, i need to update the material. and may be it continues up to 1000 times to do it again and again to find the destruction on the plate.

I will write a .sh script and that will do this process again and again. kindly just tell what is the external data". is it available is workbench or do i need to install this plugin?
