Do I have to scale all my grids to meters before running now?

Hi Tom,

yes, your mesh has to be in meters in current versions of the code. However, you can scale the mesh with SU2_DEF if necessary. In order to do that add the following options to the config file:

DV_KIND= SCALE
% put ALL the markers that are in your mesh here as a comma separated list
DV_MARKER = ( AIRFOIL, FARFIELD )
% this option is ignored, but has to be present
DV_PARAM = (1, 0.5)
% the factor you want to scale the mesh with
DV_VALUE = 1.0

Then simply run SU2_DEF. Unless you haven't changed the filename in the config file, the new mesh will be called "mesh_out.su2".
