Dear SU2_EDU users,
Thank you for your support of SU2_EDU in its early stages of development. We have had a very successful launch, with more than 250 registered downloads of our software since the version 1.0 release back in January. Given the large amount of interest and helpful feedback, we are excited to announce a new update to the software, SU2_EDU Version 1.1. It contains some important modifications that streamline the source code and make the solver more robust. Version 1.1 has a number of changes and improvements, including the following: • Removal of unnecessary source code for clarity. • Improved code commenting and readability. • New meshes for additional flow regimes. • Tuned configuration files for optimized performance. Finally, we would like to thank the open-source community for their continued interest and support. The SU2 team <susquared-dev@lists.stanford.edu> |
