HI,
I am running a 2D supersonic aerofoil optimization using the Hicks-Henne type design variables, after finding 2D FFD unsuccessful. The new HH parametrization is successfully updating the geometry to reduce drag, however the thickness constraint is not satisfied by each resulting design, and after 7-8 design iterations the geometry becomes unfeasible due to extreme surface deformations. 2D-opt-config.txt Config file attached above, any help would be very greatly appreciated!
