Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm giving this script a go and have been persistently running into the following error:

Code:
kindMesh (2D/3D) = 3D
Input file read correctly

Reading of the 'points' file
Problem during the 'points' file reading

I have attached the python script as run, the associated text file and the associated OpenFOAM case.

If anyone has any insights, I'd love to hear from you!

Best,
Moshe.

For some reason blockMesh wasn't working there...

I tried a different tutorial case where it did work (see attached). There are now in fact 'points' in the PolyMesh folder. I'm still getting the same error.

See attached case.

Hi,

Sorry for reply a thread so old, but I'm facing the same problem, so could you give a hint about how to do that?

Sincerely,
