Hi,

I am planning to calculate derivatives by considering neighbors of neighbors points (2nd neighbors) for my work. I explored various geometry related files in SU2 and could not get a clear picture of how to access to the neighbors of neighbors.

looking for some help/suggestion.

2nd neighbors are not currently supported, so you will need to implement something to do this, either by changing the geometry structure to include the list of 2nd neighbors as well as the neighbors, or by looping over the neighbors of neighbors at the point in the code where you need that information, aka looping over the values in the Neighbor_Nodes tensor. (See GetNeighbor_Nodes method(s))

Thanks for your reply. I will look into your suggestions.

I am little confused between GetnPoint( ) and GetnNeighbor( ). In LS gradient calculation GetnPoint( ) class is used to access the neighbors. Plz clarify.
