Hi,
I'm trying to simulate hypersonic plasma flow with SU2, I have got the SU2 v_4.0.0, and then I have two questions:
1. Will I need the Mutation++ lib?
2. If I have the Mutation++ lib, how can I use it ? Will I need to change the original code such as SU2 v_4.0.0 ? or just use it in the original code directly ?

Thanks in advance

It sounds like you want to use the TNE2_EULER or TNE2_NAVIER_STOKES model. This is changed with the "Solver" config option. You should not need to change the source code, however as this feature is less often used and the code changes frequently, if you have any problems using it you may find it useful to look through the code to see what it is actually doing.
SU2_CFD/src/solver_direct_tne2.cpp and other _tne2 files as well as Common/src/config_structure.cpp are good places to start.
