Hi everybody,

I would like to implement new design variables in SU2 to be used for other purposes than shape optimization.
In particular, I am interested in using the Angle of Attack and Mach number as design variables to numerically correct for wind-tunnel wall interference problems, similarly to what has been done here: http://arc.aiaa.org/doi/abs/10.2514/6.2016-3575.

I saw that, in CAdjEulerSolver::Inviscid_Sensitivity, the sensitivities with respect to the Angle of Attack and the Mach number are computed. Therefore, I guess there will not be much to do in terms of adjoint-related work except communicating this values to the optimizer.

But these sensitivities need to be used to change the Angle of attack and the Mach number at each design iteration. Which files need to be modified in order to do this?

Any help is appreciated,

Z
