This may sound like a dumb question, but can we convert CGNS mesh to .SU2 format ? is there a way to do this in SU2 framework ? reason I am asking is it is easier to veriy MARKER definitions in .SU2 format.
Thanks in advance

Hi,

Yes you can easily convert the cgns mesh to the (ASCII) .su2 format. Or you run your case using the .cgns mesh without any marker definition -> the simulation will fail but it'll write out all marker tags/names.

For more information see

https://su2code.github.io/docs/Mesh-File/ -> General information

https://su2code.github.io/tutorials/Inviscid_Wedge/ -> tutorial where cgns to su2 conversion is done

Hope that helps, Tobi
