How can I implement an inlet profile for a 2D supersonic flow? I am running a compressible, RANS-SA Mach 5 flow in SU2 v6.2 and would like to use an inlet profile to impose an incoming boundary layer. However, I am using a supersonic inlet and the SU2 Laminar Backward-facing Step tutorial uses a normal inlet. Can I implement an inlet profile if I am using a supersonic inlet?

No, you would have to modify some code for that.
Also the supersonic inlet is purely convective, it does not account for diffusion terms. |
