Hello all,

I am currently running a DDES, 2nd order unsteady simulation for an airfoil in deep stall (angle of attack = 60^{\circ}). The time discretization was performed by using a dual time-stepping scheme. I was trying to converge the results obtained from SU2, and compare the variation of C_{l} experimental data by increasing the number of inner iterations.

I seem to be finding it difficult to obtain a physical reason behind the shift in the peak frequency for which I have obtained. In consultation with another colleague, I got to know that the reason could be because of the absence of ensemble averaging. I would be grateful to hear from someone regarding their opinion on this matter.

The experimental data and the computational results were obtained from Swalwell et. al. and the DESider project respectively, whose sources are presented below:

Hoping to hear soon.
