Hi all,
I've been trying to set up a case (with a code of my own) which makes use of the actuator disk model from SU2 (general momentum theory). There are two propellers on the aircraft, one on each wing (left + right). The propellers are counter-rotating. So far, I've been able to run simulations where the propellers are co-rotating, but I'm unable to figure out the way to reverse the direction of rotation without also reversing the axial pressure difference that manifests. I've made use of the OptimalPropeller.py script (https://github.com/su2code/SU2/blob/...alPropeller.py) in order to generate ActuatorDisk.dat (the input datafile). Please let me know if anybody has any insights on this or has faced a similar issue, thanks! |

Hi,
I am also facing the same issue, have you already resolved this problem? Thanks in advance! |
