Hello,
I am trying to run a simulation of 70M cells, and for that reason I need to use at least 128 cores (16 cores per cpu) on my server to get reasonable time per iteration. The problem is, when I try to use that many cores the geometry preprocessing takes a very long time (3 hours at least..). Is it possible to run only the geometry preprocessing on a smaller number of cores (so it finishes more quickly) and then load the partitioned mesh to the solver later? Thank you |

That doesn't sound right. Can you tell a bit more about the case? Which part of the preprocessing takes so much time?
