Hi all,
OpenFOAM has thise utility: https://www.openfoam.com/documentati...ldAverage.html This allows to calculate time averages and standard deviations on the fly, so that they can be dumped at the end of the simultion and analyzed without further postprocessing. I can't find anything similar in SU2, is it somewhere? If the answer is no, I might be willing to spend some time implementing it, and in addition some on the fly DFT utility. However I have not developed before with SU2, so I'd be grateful for any guidance to do so. I mainly want to avoid writing lots of vtks and postprocessing them after. Thanks, |

There is some info on the windowing averaging here:
https://su2code.github.io/tutorials/Unsteady_NACA0012/ And we have custom outputs that you can define using macro's: https://su2code.github.io/docs_v7/Custom-Output/ It would be nice to be able to define time-averaged outputs using the custom outputs. The main implementation is in COutput.* and CFlowOutput.cpp |
