Hi,
Just completed a transient (1hr) fluid flow simulation of mixing in a tank using high speed recirculation. My residuals (<1E-04) and domain imbalances (<0.1%) seem to be on point and looks like the iterations converge to a solution. However, the residuals do have some small oscillations in them. Just needed a second opinion on whether the solution is sufficient or not. Residual Monitor image attached. Thanks, Z |

The values are low so it is not a fatal problem I think. Could be bad mesh, numerical inaccuracies or the flow is transient so the steady solution does not fully converge. Whether or not this is a big problem -- visit CFX-Pre to add a few monitor points for global values of interest, such as mass flow rate, and see whether that has converged to a single value.
