PISO algoritm Pressure Correction Equation -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Demon New Member Join Date: Oct 2021 Posts: 1 Rep Power: 0	Hello everyone! I am trying to implement a solver for 1D pipeline compressible flow using PISO algorithm. Continuity and Momentum (simplified) equations are here Continuity+Momentum Equations (simplified).jpg. If I understand it right, then I need: 1. Calculate the velocity filed from Momentum equation. 2. Calculate pressure (or pressure correction) field from a special equation which is somehow should be derived from Continuity and Momentum equations. Could someone please tell me how can this "special" pressure correction equation can be derived? Maybe some detailed description is available? Thank you for the help in advance
