Hello,
I was wondering if someone could please tell me how to load .ccm file (star ccm+ transient output/timestep) into the tecplot 360 2017. I didnīt export in the form of .plt as I just started exploring the tecplot. I am unable to find a suitable loader and getting errors.
Which loader should i use?
Iīve attached the image of the loaders available to chose from here.

Thank you for the directions.

Most Tecplot 360 users that I've spoken with choose EnSight export from Star-CCM+. Tecplot 360 has a very good EnSight reader and Star-CCM+ allows more options for EnSight export than for Tecplot export.

Let me know if this works for you.

Thanks,

Hi Scott,
Thank you for replying. I was under impression that .ccm file from star output can be directly read by tecplot 360 without exporting the results into any particular format from star ccm+ like rpt or ensight. Can you please confirm my impression or correct me.
In case of later, it will be really helpful if you can direct me to any literature that deals with how to load .ccm files in tecplot.

I will try exporting the results from star in .rpt and .case formats and let you know how tecplot deals with them.

Thank you
Your reply is much appreciated.

Tecplot 360 does not have a direct reader for CMM files. This is something we could certainly consider for future development plans.

Let me know your results with EnSight format.
