when I was generating bondary layer grid , ANSA post a error saying "2nd Order elements are not supported."
But ANSA offers no way to find which shell block contains 2nd order elements. And I erase all the surface mesh and re-mesh it, it still contains 2nd order elements, but I'am sure "2nd Order" on mesh deck is closed. How to solve this problem? |

Hi there
When you erase and remesh, ANSA creates the same mesh on each macro as you had before. So, if by accident you had meshed a macro with 2nd order mesh, if you erase it and then press Remesh, ANSA will re-apply the same mesh settings on that macro. You have the following options 1) Activate the UDF>Tools_General>ClearDatabase and activate the option converrt 2nd order to 1st OR 2) Erase all the mesh Then Mesh again with the algorithm you want (Do not use Remesh) ensuring of course that the 2nd order flag in the Options list is NOT active Hope this helps Vangelis |
