Hi,
I want to ask 1. where could set the unit in ICEM? 2. After I export the mesh in ICEM, I want to import that mesh in FLUENT, but it says'Error: Null Domain Pointer', does anybody know why? I am looking forward to your reply, thanks |

Hi,
usually meshers are dimensionless, I don't know the icem specific case. However, if you draw in icem a segment 1000 'units' long and these are mm, you can set into fluent that the mesh was created in mm, or you can scale it. If you create the mesh in meters (better to say if you create a segment 1 'unit' long and these are meters) then you are ok and you don't have to specify units in fluent. Daniele |
