Dear all I have ventury type of pipe. I did meshing in ICEM . I want to change the venturi diameter only. The remaining dimensions are same. how to replace and mesh the geometry with same setup as I did in previous mesh.
Is it possible to simply replace the geometry? Note: I tried with smaller diameter the associated block went outside of the geometry. how to create mesh without doing from the beginning Thank you Govind |

Yes.You need to create unique geometries/names and import them into the ICEM-project.
Create the geometry by hand (SW, Catia) or use the Ansys Workbench with DesignModeler. Or you create the geometry in ICEM (points-lines-faces) and script the process with the diameter as an input. Be carefull not to change the number of points or lines, since this will cause ICEM to renumber everything and all the associations are gone or at least are in "danger". |
