Hello,
I am meshing an airfoil with deflected flap. There is a narrow slot upstream of the flap to blow high stream jets. The simulation is 2-D and I tried to generate structured mesh around it. Can someone suggest if my mesh is good enough to capture the flow behavior around the slot area. Also when I am exporting this mesh it says that I have uncovered faces and it gives error while reading in FLUENT..... I would really appreciate if someone could help me out there!! Thanks in advance |

Thanks for replying Antanas
Actually I am not very experienced in blocking, I just split the main O-grid block to fit around the airfoil + flap and the slot. Although I tried smoothing the mesh by moving the vertices and adjust the aspect ratio in that area (marked red by you). But the main problem is in exporting the mesh when it says that I have uncovered edged, I don't know hoe to fix it. |
