[ANSYS Meshing] The mesh file exporter does not support overlapping geometry in contact regions.

Hi all,

I have made a simple tube in which water is flowing inside it. Then I have enclosed my geometry to add air around it. I did the meshing and there was no error in it. But while updating I got "The mesh file exporter does not support overlapping geometry in contact regions. Please resolve the issue and try again.". How do I resolve this error?

-go to Mesh<Show<Overlapping geometry
You should be able to see problematic geomtry, if not then change View<Wireframe to see
-Check your named selection, most likely you have named select same edge/face/body twice

Also, Before asking any question please "search" similar questions for your answers. This question has been asked multiple times before.

Me too having the same error denoting that mesh file exporter failed due to overlapping geometry in contact regions.I am trying to simulate a heat transfer studies in shell and tube exchanger with zigzag pipes.i have added the images of my geometry.
