Did you set up enough accuracy at exporting process? Did try to use all available geometry format? As for me, STEP/IGES is most common variant. My second try is PARASOLID. In most cases it helps to avoid any geometry imperfection. Anyway, it is not crucial if some curves are doubles after being imported or other issues like that occur.
