I'm performing a 3D CFD simulation of a stage of an axial flow compressor in order to assess a type of casing treatment to delay rotating stall. The Number of blades are as follows:
IGV 34
Rotor 36
Stator 35
Due to limited computational resource, the analysis of three passages instead of the full geometry is desired. The number of passages have been chosen based on spike stall cell extension in tangential direction. The IGV, Rotor and Stator blades have been defined in bladegen.
Does Blade Editor have the feature to consider several passages instead of full geometry? Should a cut or revolve functions be used in blade modeler to produce several passages or a CAD software should be used to make a cut through the full geometry?
