Meshing a rotor blade with tip clearance

I have been trying to mesh a rotor blade which has a small tip clearance.
After I created an ogrid block along the blade, I split along the span to separate solid and fluid parts. I have faced these problems: 1- The blocks surrounding the leading edge of the blade and the blade itself seems to be lower than it should be. As a result, the mesh at the leading edge is slightly lower than the shroud curve. I tried to use face association between the upper faces of the blocks and the shroud surface but it does not change. 2- I need to split the shroud surface and assign different parts. Although I have defined two different parts, the mesh does not respect the defined surfaces. I would appreciate any help. |
