Issues with skin operation

Hello everyone,
I'm having trouble closing the solid in the image below with a simple skin operation between the faces. fig.jpg Actually, the operation is successful depending on the angle "a" between the two bodies. For example, it doesn't works at angles of 1, 2, 4, 6, 7 degrees, but it does work at 3 and 5 degrees. Even more strangely, while it works at 3 degrees it doesn't work at 3.001 degrees. Thank you in advance. EDIT: I do know there are other ways to do it. Creating a surface between the the top edges and extruding it to the bottom of the gap did work, but i want to make it "cleaner". |
