hello
i am making a mesh file of a geometry(warehouse having leakage point at some distance from bottom) but the mesh quality is poor and therefore it is not working on ansys fluent. My procedure is as follows: 1. points < lines < surfaces < create parts < blocking < association of vertices only < splitting < deletion of leakage part block < pre mesh parameters < convert to unstructured mesh < mesh file. After which step i have to associate curves? leakage point.jpg leakage block.jpg leakag block deletion.jpg mesh quality.jpg fluent error.jpg But after doing this the mesh quality is very poor and floating point error is coming in ansys fluent. plz help me Amit Parmar |

I don't quite get what is your problem in your case. What are you trying to do and what's the geometry that you are working with. Another question is why are you doing the delete block? is there a wall or object in there?
Have you check the mesh using ICEM check mesh? Usually I don't do delete block in Hexa-mesh unless you have a Boolean in your geometry |

Impossible to say with this information, probably a wrong association.
If you are not sure how the associations work, go through the basic tutorials, its covered there nicely. With the angles you have there, no code will ever run. You can click at the bins of the quality diagrams to see in the viewer where the bad elements are. This should at least indicate where your associations are wrong. Also in the menu to the left, you can activate Edges->Show Association, which gives a nice representation of the associations. Good luck! |

i am working on problem that is cuboid shape (12*5*3 dimension) warehouse and a small leakage point of h2 gas (0.305*0.305*0.15 dimension) in bottom plane. So i am generating mesh of this above case but the mesh quality seems to be poor. So what series of operations i should followed to generate mesh of this case? thank you Amit Parmar |

Can you guess at what point i am missing something? thank you Amit Parmar |

Have you tried using O-grid for the whole warehouse except the leakage block? that might helped to a certain extent.
For association problem it's quite impossible to do it without the picture of the shell mesh to the least, can you post it? |
