Default Designmodeler missing external geometry after project archiving

cons013 is on a distinguished road
So I have a solidworks part that I imported into designmodeler for a cfd wing simulation, and I archived the workbench project to sent to another computer that can run the sims much quicker than my pc. I checked the 'archive external files' or whatever and the .sldprt was contained in the .wbpz file, but for some reason when I try to generate the geometry and mesh, it says the attach failed, could not find the part. I have the plugin installed correctly so I don't know why this would happen. Even in the attach feature, the part path is correct, and it opens the part in solidworks but doesn't change any parameters, just tells me the part couldn't be found (which it could, because workbench literally opened it in solidworks 2 seconds earlier...)

How can I fix this?
