Hi!
I just started out learning ANSYS Fluent and I came across a problem. I got the ANSYS Student version, if that's important. I can start Fluent with no problems when I set the processing options in the launcher to "Parallel" However, when I try to set it to "Serial" and start Fluent 2 things happen: a) Fluent gives me this message: "WARNING: No cached password or password provided. use '-pass' or '-cache' to provide password" b) It completely freezes and I have to kill it via Task Manager. What am I doing wrong? Why is it working with parallel but not serial? I tried installing the Intel MPI, even though I have an AMD processor. I then tried executing mpiexec -register, but even this didn't help :/ What should I do? EDIT: Unfortunately, the parallel one doesn't work now either. Please help, I need it for a project ASAP :/ |
