Hello dear. i am beginner in using ICEM and have a simple question.in one part of my project i need to split the surface of my shell(green surface in figure 1) into two surface by the violet curve i sign.i mean i want to make entire shell's surface into outer and inner surface.also when i use segment/trip surface option nothing happens.

I would go back to your CAD package and make the split there. Also, the surfaces go round over 360°. It looks nice, but is a bad idea. The software doesn't know where the surfaces starts and ends Therefore, I would first split the surface twice using a Y- and Z-plane. Then the cut using the curve might become easier.
