Hi! I am finding rotation based coefficients of submarine using rotating reference frame for steady simulation. The domain is circular containing submarine and I want to rotate submarine with 2 m/sec velocity (V=r*w where r=40m and w=0.05 rad/sec). At inlet of domain a linear profile of velocity is generated (max at outer radius and minimum at inner radius) so that the net velocity at centerline is 2 m/sec. What should be the angular velocity of reference frame?? Picture of domain is attached.

Isn't it 0.05 rad/s?

Yes it should be 0.05 rad/sec.How can I incorporate coriolois and centripetal force effect on rotating submarine

When you define the axis of rotation and the rotation speed then CFX automatically applies coriolis and centripetal effects to the rotating frame of reference.
