I tried to run a simulation to analyse the effect of non condensable gases on wall condensation of steam in a containment. The simulation runs for around 50-60 time steps (0.01s each) and then gives errors. I've attached images of the same below. Could someone help me with their meaning?

Simulating the effects of non-condensable gasses on condensation of steam is a very challenging simulation to attempt. Only an expert in CFD is likely to succeed. If you are not familiar with overflow errors then I doubt you have sufficient experience in CFD and CFX to be successful at this simulation. Sorry for the blunt comment but it has to be said. Maybe you should try some simpler simulations before tackling this extremely complex one? |

Well, the FAQ should help.
It is no surprise that is diverges. That is what complex simulations do. Working out what is required to stabilise them is the difficult bit. The FAQ describes the basics, but in your case if they don't work your problem may be much more complex. But start by making sure all the basics discussed in the FAQ have been checked. |
